July 2nd bought calm conditions on the South Coast at our favourite golf location, Goodwood, home of the Festival of Speed and other great events. The course is incredibly difficult for the uninitiated, aside it would seem, for Matthew Carter of Matthew Carter Removals who won the day by two shots, with a final score of 38. It was the first time Matthew had played the course so our congratulations to Matthew and we hope you enjoy your prize!
In second place was Director General of the British Association of Removers, Stephen Vickers with 36. Nigel Dews scored 35 and finished in third.
The event was also split into a group competition with the main group prize being won by Nigel Dews (Harrow Green) Bob Bradley (Harrow Green) Ted Mooney (Company Moves) and Nick Price of RSA. The group won by a clear ten points, perhaps indicating that their handicaps need to be adjusted at some point!
Nearest the Pin was won by Pete Monk (Britannia Quickmove) and Longest Drive by Peter Rattue of Reflex Moves.
All in all a very pleasurable event. Our thanks go to Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) for their continued support.
