Basil Fry & Company is the only insurance broker in the UK dedicated solely to the provision of insurance for removal and storage contractors. Founded in 1970. Basil Fry, a broker in the City with Removals and Storage experience, spotted a gap in the market and decided to set up his own business from home.  One of Basil Fry’s first clients was White & Co., one of the largest Removers in the UK, who still remain a client today.

In 2007, one of the existing Directors, Philip Wildman, along with senior management in the company, purchased the remaining shares from the previous Directors. From our new premises in Leatherhead, the company is well positioned to service all sizes of Accounts.

We have been on the Insurance Broker Panel of the British Association of Removers since its foundation. The Association recognises that our specialisation means we are at the forefront of providing insurance and risk management solutions for the removals industry.
